Life has taken Jimmy from Southampton to South London via Peacehaven, Shoreham-by-Sea, Le Pas Opton and Geneva, Switzerland.
Along the way he has been part of several worship bands, played various instruments, led worship in small lofts and big marquees and has been known to lead hymns with nothing but a megaphone(!) He's journeyed with young people and old, learnt a lot, taught a bit, covered his boss's desk in tin-foil, mourned with those who mourn and rejoiced with those who rejoice.
To this day he still has issues with not sleeping enough and thinking too much.
He's written essays, songs, blogs, sermons.
He's sung and 'danced' and preached and studied.
He's loved and been happy and lost and been [very] grumpy
He's been flying and he's been broken but overall... He's enjoyed being Jimmy.
Newly married, he now embarks on an adventure as Head of Music and Arts at Church.co.uk; a new exciting chapter in the life and times of Jimmy Orr.
